I have today off work on annual leave. I didn’t end up going to sleep until after 1am so was looking forward to a sleep in this morning. Others had a different idea. A guy in the unit below me started building something. I’m not sure what but it involved noisy power tools and a lot of hammering. Then the maintenance people for my unit complex arrived to do the gardens. That involved a mower, a whipper snipper, and a very noise leaf blower. They must have realised I was trying to sleep because they kept going for well over an hour. Which is amazing considering there is only enough grass near the footpath the size of two car parks. I think an afternoon nap may be required.
