I made a quick trip to Townsville this weekend. Caught the 9am flight north. While in Townsville I went for a trip to Crystal Creek for a swim. With the recent rains there was plenty of water although it was slightly chilly. But nice after a short hike to the creek. In the evening I went to a local social dance where I spent the evening dancing until everyone was drenched in sweat. Not pretty. But everyone was hot so it was all in good company. At noon today it was time to head home so caught a flight south again. A direct flight each way made the trip as quick as it could be. Definitely better than when you have to change flights in Brisbane.
