Each year my friend Murph and I do a calendar swap. He lives in Boston so it means you get a slightly more interesting calendar hanging on your wall than if you just bought it locally. I think its pretty amazing that we still keep in contact. We met on a Contiki bus tour in the United States while holidaying in the year 2000. I think it was a 10 or 14 day tour. So considering that we still are in contact today I think is impressive. Murph has even visited me in Australia a few years ago. And when I was last in New York in 2006 we caught up again. I’m putting a few extra things in with the calendar this time. I won’t go into detail in case Murph is reading this blog post :) But I’ll post about it after he receives it.
